Grooming young performers through experience
The Art/Music/Science Showcase
The Art and Music Showcase is our end of the year culminating performance, in which the students demonstrate some of the skills they've learned throughout the school year in Art and Music class.
The Yule Log
Green Woods' annual celebration of the winter solstice. Usually highlighted through poetry readings, choral selections, and the lighting of the yule log, we usher in the winter season in our special way.
Green Woods' Got Talent!
Our annual Talent Show in which students can show off whatever hidden, or known, talent they wish. Auditions for this year's talent show will be held this December. Notice will go out as the time draws near.
This is our 6-8 grade choir. Specializing in middle school (and even some high school) level music, this group focuses on learning and performing music from various genres and eras, as well as regions.
This is our 2-5 grade choir. The purpose of this group is to help our younger students develop their sound and groom them for placement in the middle school choir. They also have performed music in different languages, and different styles/genres.
Green Woods' Piano Studio is in its pilot phase. It is a collection of students that are here to learn and develop their piano skills. Students meet for piano studio once a week.
